Chispa has been sheltering in place since mid March. Once it’s safe to gather, we’ll roll back out. Meanwhile, we can’t wait to re-install the sound cabinets detailed by Lauren D’Amato of Avila Rose Signs. We think of Chispa as a float and identify with the Spanish term carroza, used in Central America and Mexico. Friends in South America say they use carro allegorico for float and carroza for hearse.
