Travis Jensen came to San Francisco fresh out of high School and became immersed in the thriving skateboard scene. At City College of San Francisco, he was mentored by Juan Gonzalez, Chair of the Journalism Department. Jensen spent many years documenting the residents and the street life of the Excelsior District, developing a large body of work on the neighborhood.
