Sarah Newton works in drawing and printmaking. She focuses on spaces and details of the everyday built environment that generally exist at the periphery of attention. Her recent project involving exploration of the shoreline of the San Francisco Bay was profiled in Bay Nature magazine. Sarah’s work has been exhibited at San Francisco Center for the Book, the Brower Center, and in national and international exhibitions. She is closely associated with the Graphic Arts Workshop in Dogpatch.
