Phillip Hua is a visual artist who works digitally and on paper. An instructor at the Academy of Art University, he has also been awarded multiple public art commissions. An active member of his community, Hua also has a drag persona as Severa Wang, supporting community fundraising, the arts and campy mischief. Severa has performed Drag Storytime for Book and Wheel events.
