SFMOMA Soapbox Derby!
Sunday, April 10, 2022, SoEasy, our derby car sailed down John F. Shelley Drive in McLaren Park and was awarded “Most San Francisco,” by the judges. Fifty eight beautiful, ingenious cars took that trip and more than 25 artist-made trophies were awarded. Thank you to Stella Lochman and Tomoko Kanamitsu of SFMOMA’s Public Engagement Department. It was a beautiful day in SF, one that just validated all we love about our native city. Great for families and folx of all ages–just a spectacular, free event. Thank you to MOMA and to all who came out and to our friends and family for all the support.
